Needing a break from my bigger knitting projects, and not having been able to find my bookmark lately, I decided to knit one. I had some white cotton-type thread in my stash so I pulled out the size 0 needles and a simple lace pattern and cast on. While it was a simple knit, knitting with thread and needles that small was tedious. It is a bit more delicate than I'd use for my every day reading but I'm pleased with the end result. 
While I was search through things for the small cross I attached to the bookmark, I stumbled across some fun buttons. I decided to make a second little bookmark using one of those fun buttons.It was a nice break, but now I need to get back to knitting on my shawl and my tote...
